WEST PALM BEACH, FL. – The City of West Palm Beach’s “CBN’s Countdown to SunFest ‘22” event will take place on Thursday, April 7 from 6 – 9 p.m. The last in a series of four, the Clematis by Night (CBN) countdown was created to raise awareness and enthusiasm for SunFest’s return in 2022 following a two-year hiatus.
The special concert will feature Matt Brown, a Jamaican American soul musician and community activist based in West Palm Beach. Brown will also play at SunFest on Sunday, May 1. As a multi-instrumentalist who loves a good jam, Matt Brown is known both for his stylistic versatility and as the founder of West Palm’s local music collective, affectionately dubbed Soulfam. His band is made up of Trey Dark on drums, Drew Dockerill aka Sunday Cassette on guitar, Matthew Stewart on trumpet, and Cleo J’Adore and Dakota Dawkins on backup vocals.
The collaboration features a special promotion of $22 TheClubVIP tickets, which includes CBN perks and a one-day SunFest ticket. CBN perks include a spot close to the stage, access to a private bar and unlimited popcorn. High-top tables are also available a first-come, first-served basis. VIP tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance at Eventbrite (a small Eventbrite processing fee will be applied).
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.
