This past weekend we visited Rok Bar in Daytona and were left
speechless as we watched the main act perform. And 'perform' is the main word there. The promotional You Tube Video speaks for itself. "DIDGES CHRIST"
To get an idea of what to expect at a Didges Christ show, just have a read from their home page:
"Citizens of Planet Earth! The Assimilation has begun! Even one of your archaic historical publications called Modern Drummer has what you call and [sic] article on Obishawnkenobi from the planet groK! Click Here to read it!"
Oh, they dress like Predators too.
As for Rok Bar, local Chris Vorhees has created a great venue. Consistently lining up a flow of great talent from Progressive Rock to Hip Hop to trans-formative bands like Didges Christ. New sound, awesome lighting, and a great staff make it the best place for live music in Daytona.
August proves to be another explosive month of shows. You can see their schedule here or visit the official site below.
