Orca Dies on Flagler Beach

ORCA Dies on Flagler Beach by Jungle Hut

A Female Killer whale died on Wednesday after beaching off Jungle Hut Beach Road in Flagler Beach County Today.

A spokeswoman for Seaworld said, the 21-foot whale beached itself in the area of Jungle Hut Park but was alive before the beaching occurred.

It’s the first time an Orca has been seen beached this far south according to NOAA.

Agencies on hand assisting included Seaworld, Flagler Sheriff’s Department, FFWC

The whale will be taken for Autopsy to figure out cause of death.
