A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the second COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation, or CSG 2, radar surveillance satellite for the Italian space agency, ASI.


Launch viewing is available at the Banana Creek Launch Viewing Area, adjacent to the Apollo/Saturn V Center:

  • Approximately 6.2 miles/10 kilometers from launch pad
  • See the rocket leave the launch pad
  • Bleacher seating with live launch commentary
  • Available for $20 in addition to daily admission
  • Bus boarding begins at 4:00 PM
  • The Apollo/Saturn V Center will not remain open for launch viewing.
  • This launch transportation ticket requires daily admission, so plan to come early to explore the attractions and exhibits included with your ticket!
  • Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
