CheerWine Cocktails Still the Rage

With the holidays approaching we wanted to remind you of a Cheery, Charlotte tradition of the CheerWine Cocktail.

CheerWine and Rye – A match made in Cocktail heaven


Cheer Wine Old Fashioned


  • ¾ ounces CheerWine Syrup
  • 2 ounces Rye Whiskey
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • Burnt Orange peel (garnish)


CheerWine Syrup: Boil 2 cups CheerWine for 15 minutes to reduce. Add one cup sugar, stir, then cool.

Add ice to rocks glass. Add all ingredients. Stir to combine. Garnish with ? orange peel, wiped along the rim of glass.

Version 2: THE GIN RUMMY “Gin galingaling”

  • 1 ounce of Cold Gin
  • 1 Lime Juiced
  • 6 ounces CheerWine
  • 2 Ounces Club Soda
  • Maraschino Cherry Garnish


Fill a tall (14-ounce) cocktail glass two-thirds full with ice. Add gin and lime juice. Pour CheerWine into the glass, top with seltzer water, and stir.
